My first drabble

Sunday afternoon proved to be quite long... This is the result.

Notes: As we all probably know, Ginger's first name is never revealed. I gave him one though, long ago.

They were sitting by the fireplace in Biggles‘ flat after a solid Sunday lunch. The radio was playing. When one song ended and a new one started to play, Algy noticed Ginger’s bored expression changing into somewhat gentle dreamy smile.

“What’s up?” he asked cheerfully.

Ginger looked at him like he had just woke up. “My mother loved this song. She used to sing it to me, when I was little.”

“Oh, so that’s why she named you ...”

“Yep, I’d guess so,” grinned Ginger.

“Was she Irish?” asked Biggles lighting his cigarette.

“From a half, I think,” answered Ginger.

I do, though I think I'll stick to Ginger in my stories- he's telling me he'd get all confused otherwise.

Glad you like it ^^ I was kind of bored yesterday and listening to some music. Then suddenly I remembered and couldn't get the idea out of my head. When I wrote it, I found out it has 100 words exactly :D

I'm quite a lot into these 'glimpses into their normal life'. There are a lot of such little stories I would want to write but there's no plot to them D=

I think that one was more of an annoyed one. He wasn't annoyed in here, he was 'oh,good grub-I'm sleepy'. :D

If snippets are what are begging to be written, then I say: write 'em! The more writing, the better.
